Many of you have seen one of the amazing gowns we have hanging in our shop. We are thrilled to announce we are having a Passionata Soirée to present, promote and sell these clothes on Sunday, 23rd November at 2:00pm. Tickets at $65 each are available through either calling our shop or emailing us. We recommend you order your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. We have had huge interest in this event. There will be bubbles and nibbles, along with Mary Livingston’s fabulous light opera singing. This will be a lovely afternoon at a beautiful venue at Orams Marine. Dresses will be styled and paraded on models while you sit comfortably enjoying the lovely environment.

We will be telling Tim’s story. Tim spent a great part of his career in the UK and in Melbourne, opening a boutique in Parnell in the late 1980’s. We have some of those clothes and amazing gowns from the early 90’s. These gowns are collectors’ items and you will not be disappointed. Among Tim’s clients were Kiri Te Kanawa, Angela D’Audney and Hilary Timmins.

We are creating an on-line catalogue and will let you know when this is available for viewing. We also have sketches and miniature gowns. Our charity for this event is Starship Foundation.

Some of our gorgeous Christmas decorations have arrived. We have beautiful gifts handmade by our artisans and an endless supply of jewellery and handbags. Anaal from Kris Crystals will be there with her gorgeous handcrafted silver jewellery with genuine stones. You will see some lovely vintage china and glassware and vintage gloves.

We now stock La Source jewellery from Paris from amazing costume pearls to chunky long fashion necklaces.

High quality freshwater and seawater pearls can now be found at Passionata direct from the pearl farms in China.

We are going to be in Simply You Living coming out in November. By now you will have seen us in the current Simply You magazine.

Passionata products have been featured in the latest two Next magazines, including a double page spread styled by Debbie Toko in the current Next magazine. We have an advert in the latest Mindfood (thank you Mindfood). Passionata products were also featured on the breakfast show recently in a 1950’s feature which lots of people saw.

Most exciting news is that Passionata jewellery and bags went to the Qantas Media Awards on TV presenters, many of whom won awards. We are very proud that Michiko Hughes, Style Director at TVNZ won best dressed at the recent fashion week Moet & Chandon opening function. She had one of our Italian handbags and was responsible for the celebrities at the Media Awards looking so fantastic.

Also thanks to Verve magazine for giving us editorials each issue. Passionata is also going to be featured in the December NZ House and Garden Urban Eye.
