The catalogue of Tim Allan’s gowns and other garments is now on-line, though we will be adding to it over the next week as photos are taken of some of the remaining garments and the miniature gowns. Have a look at it here.

Also on-line is the story of Tim Allan’s life, compiled largely from newspaper clippings in his own scrapbook. I have found it absolutely fascinating to read through. There seems to be very little on line about Tim Allan, so hopefully we are starting a trend!

Organisation for the Haute Couture Soirée is coming along, we are just about to print a colour flyer with photos of Tim’s garments and sketches, and you should see a beautiful poster appear near you soon! The image on the poster and the flyer is a colourised version of a black and white photograph which appeared in the NZ Herald in the 1980′s.

In other news, we have just put up our Christmas displays, we’ve got lots of lovely Christmas decorations, but my favourite thing in the shop has to be the handbag tree! Well… why not?

Some of our gorgeous Christmas decorations have arrived. We have beautiful gifts handmade by our artisans and an endless supply of jewellery and handbags. Anaal from Kris Crystals will be there with her gorgeous handcrafted silver jewellery with genuine stones. You will see some lovely vintage china and glassware and vintage gloves.

We now stock La Source jewellery from Paris from amazing costume pearls to chunky long fashion necklaces.

High quality freshwater and seawater pearls can now be found at Passionata direct from the pearl farms in China.

Hi there Eskimos……..

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr it’s cold. Come along on Thursday night and warm yourself up with a glass of mulled wine!!! Gary and Harley will be playing (they have both bought new guitars). We have decorated the window with Christmas decorations to add to the fun. Some customers are asking for decorations they wished they had bought last year. If you were dreaming about any of these do let us know as we are happy to hold these for you if we have any left. Many decorations are not available the following season – just ask Shannon.

There will be some offers for Passionata customers from Thursday through to Sunday. These prices will not be advertised to the general public and are a special treat for the customers on our database.

Just arrived are a fabulous selection of vintage and retro handbags and some gorgeous vintage Givenchy jewellery. We have some classic garments and coats in store which are selling very quickly. Our Funky tights are going fast and we cannot get any more of most of the collection – they are divine to wear in this cold weather.
